It’s Laura, the founder of The MAPS Institute. I just wanted to pop on and say welcome to The Weekly Practice, our weekly newsletter to help you on your journey to a life in balance!
If you’re anything like me, you get a LOT of email in your inbox. The fact that you signed up to get one more means a lot to me! I promise that I’ll honor that privilege and deliver two things on a weekly basis:
1. SUCCINCT content. No long, verbose, superfluous junk.
2. Ideas, exercises, and challenges that will hopefully inspire you to shift your thinking (just a little bit) and help set your day, week, and journey off in new and interesting directions.
We’ve found that creating a dynamic, healthy, and pleasurable existence requires a consistent, faithful life-practice (what we call your journey) rooted equally in Mindfulness, Activation, Purpose, and Surrender. So, you’ll be getting a lot more than just a bunch of yoga or meditation tips — although a regular practice of both is certainly important! 😉
