How do you usually spend your mornings? Do you wake up early to walk the dog or swing by a Starbucks before work? Do you sleep in until the last possible minute? Or do you hit the snooze button for the third time, dreading to get out of bed and start your day?

Our morning practices affect how we feel, react, and respond to situations throughout the day. If you drag yourself out of bed late and spend the next thirty minutes on your phone, chances are you’ll be exhausted by the end of the day. But if you put your mind and body first, such as through meditation and reflection, you’ll most likely see an increase in focus, energy, and awareness.

Practice this morning meditation to center both your mind and body, to ground yourself, and to set peaceful intentions for the rest of the day!
